Tekirdağ'dan 19 Ülkeye Su Arıtma Ekipmanları İhracatı
Tekirdağ’ın Ergene ilçesinde bulunan Velimeşe Organize Sanayi Bölgesi'nde faaliyet gösteren bir firma, su ve atık su arıtma süreçlerinde kullanılan ekipmanları üretip 19 ülkeye ihraç ederek Türkiye’nin ekonomik büyümesine katkı sağlıyor.
İstihdam Yaratma ve Üretim Kapasitesi
Around 10,000 square meters, the production facility currently employs 110 people, producing penstock covers, grill systems, scrapers, mixers, sludge dewatering equipment, sand and activated carbon filters, and softening systems.
Firm owner Metin Bahar, in an interview with AA, stated that they began their commercial operations in 2004 in a 100-square-meter industrial shop. Today, they operate with an integrated production facility. “Our company designs all the equipment required for water and wastewater treatment processes in-house in three dimensions. After customer approval, production is carried out using CNC machines and robotic systems,” Bahar added.
Büyüme Hedefleri ve İstihdam Artışı
Bahar emphasized that they are steadily increasing employment alongside the growing business volume, highlighting their commitment to providing technically sound, reliable service both domestically and internationally. He noted that their products are used in 69 cities within Turkey and in numerous countries.”
These include major cities, water and sewage administrations, organized industrial zones, and industrial facilities. “Abroad, our products are actively used in European countries such as Germany, Croatia, and Bulgaria, Asian countries like Russia, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, as well as in African countries such as Egypt, Libya, and Morocco, and in South American countries like Chile and the Dominican Republic,” Bahar asserted. Currently, 60% of their production is exported.
Gelecek Vizyonu
Bahar shared their production figures, stating they manufacture around 1,000 different products each year, with approximately 500-600 of them being exported. He emphasized the significant role of supports from KOSGEB and the Trakya Development Agency in increasing their production capacity.
“Our goal is to reach new markets, especially in Europe, and to serve countries where we have not yet exported. With this ambition, we aim to increase our production capacity by 50% and boost our exports by 75% within the next two years. Furthermore, we prioritize environmentally friendly production practices to reduce our carbon footprint and increase female employment, creating a more inclusive structure,” Bahar concluded.
